Is Factory really free?
Yes. Factory is the desktop log that ships with Roastnet. There is no per-roast licensing, no upgrade gate on critical features, and no separate Factory subscription. If you have a Roastnet account, you have Factory.
Do I need any other software for accounting?
Roastnet ships an accounting module that handles invoicing, payments and multi-currency, and it syncs invoices two-way with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage through the built-in cloud integrations. If you use another tool, you can export everything.
What does payment processing look like?
Storefront payments run on Stripe Connect: you onboard your own Stripe account and every sale settles directly to your bank. Roastnet adds a small per-transaction fee that covers the hosting and running of your storefront. Plan billing is separate and uses the card on your account.
Can I import my existing data?
Yes. The Free, Base and Pro trials include a guided import for green coffee, customers, products, and standing orders. Pro includes a dedicated onboarding manager who runs the migration with you.
How does the leasing module relate to my real lease agreements?
Roastnet generates the lease PDF from a template you control, sends it through the signature service, and locks the lease to active once it is signed. The PDF lives in the platform forever, audit-trailed and tamper-evident.
What devices does Factory run on?
Factory ships first for current generation desktop devices and supports USB, Bluetooth, and Modbus probes. We are following on every major desktop platform.
Can I try Roastnet without a credit card?
A card is required on every plan, including the free one, so usage beyond your plan's included allowances is covered. The free plan itself is never charged a subscription, and paid-plan trials charge nothing until the 14-day trial ends.
